shenkokoro: I don't have the money at the moment, but if all goes well, I'll be starting a new job in the next week. So commish, two characters being all couple like, how much do you think it would cost? (This way, I can start saving up :D)

I’m just gonna answer this because I’ve been sending a ton of people the same thing in their ask, and this way people will know!

I usually charge 30 for something that’s color and not overly complicated. For instance, the commission I did for sarah (dude and lady in costume, not full body, no bg) was 30. That being said, I also ask for 5 dollars to cover me buying a heavy duty envelope so your picture will never ever get ruined ever on its way to you. So it usually comes out to 35 dollars total. Something simple/just lineart not colored/just a face and shoulders portrait colored/blahblahblah would probably only be 20. Anyway, as you can probably guess, easier = less and more complicated = more. Obviously. Isn’t that how these things work normally?

Anyway, I’d much rather discuss price then have a set list, so this post is just a general idea. I like to be able to negotiate.

So if you want something, drop me an email or something in my ask with a description of what you’d like and we can talk about it.
